Senda Hyoe (千田兵衛)

Hyoe SENDA (1846 - Oct 6, 1868) was a member of the Shinsengumi (a group who guarded Kyoto during the end of Tokugawa Shogunate) form Hirosaki Domain, Mutsu Province. Lower commander of infantry.

He joined the Shinsengumi in around 1867. He served as a close retainer of Isami KONOD, Head of the Shinsengumi.

When the Boshi War started, he fought in the Battle of Toba-Fushimi, The Battle of Koshu-Katsunuma, and the Aizu War. He was killed on the field of the Battle of Bonari-toge. He died at 23.
